A heartwarming video has gone viral online, showing Rabbi Schneur Zalman Gluchovsky, a Chabad emissary, offering a window washer on the 14th floor the opportunity to put on tefillin without descending from his ropes. Gluchovsky, who was on a balcony, noticed the worker suspended by ropes and approached him. He then offered the man the chance to perform the mitzvah of laying tefillin, a ritual involving the placement of small black boxes containing scripture on the arm and head.
