Soccer Star Eran Zahavi Launches Israel's Largest Padel Tour

Soccer player Eran Zahavi is launching the EZ7 Padel Tour, aiming to become Israel's largest padel league. The tour is set to begin in October and will feature five categories: celebrities, pro, B, C, and women. Participants will be divided into groups based on skill level and geographic location, with six pairs competing in each group over five rounds. Matches will be played weekly at scheduled times and pre-booked courts.

The top two teams from each group will advance to a knockout stage, culminating in semifinals and finals held during a special championship week at a neutral venue. The finals' location will be announced later. Matches will follow a best-of-three sets format, with each set played to six games. Tie-breaks will be used at 6-6 in sets, and a super tie-break up to ten points will decide the match if sets are tied. A golden point will determine the winner at 40-40 in a game. Teams earn three points for a win, one for a loss, and zero for a no-show. Postponed matches due to weather will be rescheduled.

The participation fee is 890 shekels per player, covering at least five games, court fees, a branded welcome kit, and a ticket to the finals event. Players will also receive an individual player card and membership in the EZ7 Padel Tour club, offering exclusive content, events, prizes, and raffles. The total prize pool exceeds 50,000 shekels. League matches will take place across Israel in the North, Sharon, Tel Aviv, Shfela, and South regions. Players can register without a fixed partner, and organizers will assist in finding suitable matches. The minimum entry level is 2.5-3, with players required to report their skill level for professional approval, potentially including tryouts. Registration is limited, and payment details will be sent after group formation. Prices, dates, and locations are subject to change before the official registration opens.
