Prima Hotels Appoints New Marketing and Sales Leaders After Longtime Executive Departs
After 25 years with the company, Haim Duk, the marketing and sales vice president of the Prima Hotels chain, is concluding his tenure. This departure comes as part of the hotel group's strategic preparations for future growth and expansion.
To accommodate this, Prima Hotels has decided to restructure its marketing and sales management by splitting the roles into two dedicated vice president positions. Roni Weiser has been appointed as the new Marketing Vice President. Weiser brings 18 years of experience in marketing and management, having previously held senior roles such as Marketing VP at Nespresso and Marketing Department Manager at Isrotel Hotels. Her expertise includes leading marketing strategies, growth initiatives, brand management, and premium customer loyalty programs.
Oren Botbol has been appointed as the new Sales Vice President. Botbol possesses over 25 years of experience in the hotel and tourism industry, with a background in senior management positions across sales, marketing, and business development. His previous roles include Sales and Marketing VP at Africa Israel Hotels, overseeing brands like Holiday Inn and Crowne Plaza. His experience encompasses managing large-scale sales and marketing operations, business development, new hotel openings, commercial strategy development, and team leadership.
Avi Dor, CEO of Prima Hotels, expressed gratitude to Haim Duk for his "significant contribution" over 25 years, acknowledging his role in the chain's development. Dor also noted that Duk will remain involved with the company in some capacity, stating, "We are not parting ways yet, and I am happy that Haim will continue to be part of our journey. I see him as a close friend and am happy about our relationship over the years."
Dor further elaborated on the need for organizational changes, citing "deep changes" in the hotel industry globally, driven by technological advancements, evolving consumer behavior, the rapid development of artificial intelligence, and new marketing and sales channels. He emphasized that these shifts necessitate adapting the organizational structure and management capabilities to the "new world."
