Pedestrian Critically Injured After Being Hit by Car in Kiryat Bialik
A man in his 30s sustained a severe head injury after being struck by a vehicle on the Acre-Haifa road in Kiryat Bialik. Emergency medical teams responded to the scene, where they provided life-saving treatment, including intubation and ventilation, before transporting the pedestrian to Rambam Hospital. His condition is described as serious.
The driver of the car, a 50-year-old woman, was also treated by paramedics and taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Shlomo Simcha Fuchs, a paramedic who was among the first responders, stated, "When we arrived at the scene, we saw the pedestrian unconscious and suffering from a severe head injury after being hit by a vehicle. We provided him with life-saving medical treatment, including ventilation, bandaging, and medication, and evacuated him to the hospital in serious condition. Additionally, we provided medical treatment and evacuated the driver of the vehicle to the hospital in light condition."
