Chaim Green Releases New Sukkot Song 'Zman Simchateinu'

Singer-songwriter Chaim Green has released a new, upbeat single titled 'Zman Simchateinu' (Time of Our Rejoicing) ahead of the Sukkot holiday. The song incorporates the traditional words from the holiday's Kiddush (sanctification prayer) and sets them to an energetic, Hasidic 'Freilach' rhythm intended to bring joy to every home.

Green composed the melody and handled the musical arrangement and production himself in his private studios. Shmulik Mendelson mixed and mastered the track, providing a polished sound. The timing of the release is deliberate, coinciding with Sukkot, known as 'Zman Simchateinu,' which provides a fitting spiritual backdrop for the song's message.

Rafi Zeitman conceived the idea for the song, recognizing the potential of the familiar Kiddush words to inspire a holiday musical piece. Green then brought this concept to life, utilizing his diverse talents in composition, vocals, and production.

This release joins a recent wave of new music in the Jewish music scene.
