Biala Rebbe Leads Thousands in Post-Yom Kippur Celebration

Following the solemn observance of Yom Kippur, the Rebbe of Biala led hundreds of his followers in a public "Kiddush Levanah" (Sanctification of the New Moon) ceremony in Jerusalem. The event took place in the city streets, emphasizing a communal and festive atmosphere.

After the moon sanctification, the Rebbe presided over his "Tish" (table), a gathering for his Hasidic followers, held in the large Sukkah erected near the Biala Hasidic center on Yaakovson Street in Jerusalem. During the gathering, he delivered spiritual discourse, reflecting on the significance of the past Days of Awe and looking forward to the upcoming holidays.

The "Kiddush Levanah" is a traditional ceremony performed after the new moon becomes visible in the sky, typically on a Saturday night or the night following the Sabbath. It is often accompanied by prayers and songs, and the Biala Rebbe's participation with his followers highlights the continuation of spiritual and communal life after the intense introspection of Yom Kippur.
