Jewish Power Party Opposes Delay in Sami Abushahada's Hearing

The Otzma Yehudit party has responded to former Knesset member Sami Abushahada's request to postpone a hearing due to medical reasons. Sources close to Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir claim Abushahada is seeking to delay the proceedings to run out the clock before the judge presiding over the case concludes their term. The party's statement asserts that Ben-Gvir believes Abushahada is 'shaking' and thus requesting the delay. "In any case, to remove all doubt and given the importance of the discussion, if necessary, we will request to investigate him and conduct the proceedings, even in the hospital," the statement read. "Abushahada knows these are the last days the judge can hear cases and is not just playing games."
