Teenager Arrested in Ramat Gan After Claiming to Be Terrorist
Israeli police arrested a 16-year-old resident of the territories on Tuesday after he called emergency services and claimed to be a terrorist. Upon receiving the call, police traced the mobile phone to the Ramat Gan area. The suspect was then taken to the police station in Bnei Brak for questioning.
According to a police statement, officers from the Bnei Brak station located and apprehended the minor, identified as a resident of the "South" (likely referring to the southern West Bank or southern Israel, contextually unclear), after he made suspicious statements during an online conversation. Following the report, officers initiated a search and quickly located the suspect. He was arrested shortly before the report and is currently being investigated to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
