Yael Bar Zohar Shares Emotional Yom Kippur Reflection on Family and Nation

Israeli media personality and actress Yael Bar Zohar shared a deeply personal and spiritual reflection on her Instagram account following Yom Kippur. She described a moving experience during the priestly blessing ceremony, where she observed her husband, Guy Zu-Arets, embracing their children under a prayer shawl, a ritual she finds profoundly emotional.

Bar Zohar stated that this scene, with families gathered under their own prayer shawls, connects her to the broader community and evokes strong feelings. She concluded her post with a collective prayer for better days for all of Israel, particularly given the nation's current challenging period, expressing hope that all prayers of the Jewish people will be answered.

This intimate sharing comes shortly after another poignant moment for the couple. On September 20th, Bar Zohar and Zu-Arets visited the cemetery to remember their late fathers and also paid respects at the grave of Eli Baram, Zu-Arets' nephew, who was killed during the October 7th Hamas attack.
