Hamas Terrorist Who Murdered Israeli Man Captured After Hospital Escape

The Hamas terrorist responsible for the murder of Natanel Yonatan Sharon, who was killed in a shooting attack at Ein Riyal spring in the Benjamin region, was apprehended overnight. The assailant, Qadri Samara, a 37-year-old Hamas operative from the village of Biddu, was wounded during the attack by fire from a tracker from the Benjamin Brigade who was in the area. He then fled, wounded, to a hospital in Ramallah.

Approximately three hours after the attack, elite Duvdevan unit soldiers raided the hospital, captured Samara, and transferred him to security forces. Sharon, a resident of Ali Zahav and a father of six, had gone to the spring with his 16-year-old son on the eve of Yom Kippur. During the attack, he managed to warn his son, saving his life, but was himself killed by the terrorist's gunfire.
