Father's Last Wish Fulfilled in Emotional Duet by Shuki Solomon and Yehuda Green

Music and charity figure Shuki Solomon has released a new, deeply moving single ahead of the Sukkot holiday, featuring a collaboration with renowned American "kumzitz" artist Yehuda Green. This marks Solomon's first release since the passing of his father earlier this year, and it carries a poignant personal story.

Solomon's late father greatly admired Yehuda Green's work and harbored a lifelong dream of seeing his son perform a duet with Green. This dream is now being realized in the current period of "days of mercy and forgiveness," leading up to the "harvest festival" of Sukkot.

The song's lyrics are drawn from a heartfelt prayer: "Master of the Universe, fulfill the desires of my heart for good and grant my request, and make our will and our request come true." This simple yet profound prayer encapsulates the hopes and yearnings that Jews carry to God during this time.

Solomon and Green expressed their shared hope with the song's release: "May our Father in Heaven fulfill the desires of our hearts for good, hear our prayers, and may we soon merit the complete redemption and the resurrection of the dead."

The music was composed by Yehuda Green, with musical arrangement and production by David Taub. The filming and editing were done by Zviqi Green.
