Businessman Roni Mana Slams Netanyahu Family Over Yom Kippur Social Media Activity

Businessman Roni Mana, formerly close to the Netanyahu family, has launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his family, accusing them of hypocrisy and cynical exploitation of religious symbols. Mana's criticism stems from a report by journalist Uri Misgav, alleging that the Prime Minister's son, Yair Netanyahu, was active on social media during the Yom Kippur fast.

Mana specifically referenced a video of the Netanyahus praying at the Western Wall before the holiday began, stating, "They played for the cameras that they were praying at the Wall and Bibi gave a blessing to the holy congregation... They played that they were great righteous people. They even turned the holy Western Wall into a joke."

He further intensified his tone, asserting that the family's motives are far from the Jewish tradition they outwardly portray. "I have written countless times, this family is atheist," Mana declared. "What interests them is to divide, to sow discord, and to frighten everyone, because the lust for power is their goal, the people do not interest them."

Mana concluded his remarks with a direct jab at Channel 14 and its flagship program, "The Patriots," saying, "Let's see what all the sycophants on The Patriots and Channel 14 will say. Shame and disgrace."

This criticism follows Mana's recent condemnation of an AI-generated image depicting Netanyahu in a hospital gown and diaper. While denouncing the image as "disgusting" and urging an end to such depictions, Mana reiterated his strong opposition to the Prime Minister, calling him a "liar, manipulative, a crook, responsible for October 7th."
