Kobi Arieli Reveals Rift with Netanyahu Couple Over Past Remarks

Kobi Arieli has revealed that his relationship with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara has ended following comments he made about them on television in the past. Arieli stated that the couple disapproved of his remarks, leading to a severance of their ties. Speaking on the program "Intimi" on Keshet 12 with Rafi Reshef, Arieli also addressed his recent political silence, noting that he has refrained from discussing politics for the past three years and intends to continue doing so, even under pressure.

However, Arieli offered a rare glimpse into his current political indecision. He admitted that, unlike in previous election cycles, he is unsure which party he will support this time, stating it is the first time in years he does not know who he will vote for. When asked about Ra'am party chairman MK Mansour Abbas, Arieli responded concisely but firmly, calling it "a great injustice to the man and the discourse."

The most emotionally charged moment came when Arieli was questioned about Sara Netanyahu. He responded with measured words, saying, "Great compassion. It is a painful matter. Very painful." These statements position Arieli at an unusual political juncture, as after years of clear opinions and statements, he is now distancing himself from the political arena, refusing to disclose his stances, and admitting he has not yet decided on his vote.
