Aline Cohen Reflects on Tumultuous Year, Anger at God, and Renewed Faith

Israeli influencer and model Aline Cohen shared a personal and emotional post on social media ahead of Yom Kippur, reflecting on a difficult year that included the cancellation of her wedding to Bar Levi.

Cohen, who has observed a vow of silence for 15 years on Yom Kippur to focus on introspection and spirituality, stated that this year felt different. She revealed that she experienced significant anger towards God, questioning why her dreams, particularly her long-held desire for marriage and family, were taken away just as they seemed within reach.

"This year I was also angry at Him," Cohen wrote, expressing her frustration with the world, life, and the divine. She detailed her internal struggle and the numerous questions she posed about the timing and nature of her setbacks.

However, Cohen concluded her post on a note of reconciliation and gratitude. "Today I am no longer angry. Bar Levi and I have made peace," she stated, referring to her relationship with God. "I am in gratitude. For my path, for the lessons, for the people, for what remained and for what is gone. I truly believe this is the best thing for me."

She reiterated her deep desire to build a family, become a wife and mother, and expressed hope for finding her life partner and establishing the home she has always dreamed of, trusting it will happen in "His time."
