Michal Ansky Reveals Emotional Struggle on Daughter's First Day of School

Israeli media personality Michal Ansky described an intense emotional reaction to her daughter Gabriel-Lee's first day of first grade. Ansky shared on the "Missing Piece" podcast, which she co-hosts with Gali Lor, that the experience was overwhelming.

Upon returning home after dropping her daughter off at school, Ansky felt unable to continue her day. Her daughter had initially refused to be photographed at the school gate. Ansky stated she went straight to bed and canceled all her scheduled meetings, describing the situation as "extreme." She explained that she chose to stop and acknowledge her feelings rather than push through her routine, comparing it to "pulling the handbrake."

Co-host Gali Lor discussed how the transition to first grade is a significant change for children, involving a new social environment and uncertainty, even with prior preparation. Lor also noted it's a major transition for parents as their child grows, bringing both joy and anxiety about how the child will adapt.
