Gaza Shelling Kills Five, Including Women and Child

Five Palestinians, including two women and a child, were killed on Monday in various areas of the Gaza Strip due to Israeli shelling and gunfire. One woman died east of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in eastern Gaza City after being shot by Israeli forces. Another woman was killed near the Abu Madin police station on Salah al-Din Road in central Gaza after sustaining a head injury. A child was killed by a bullet to the chest fired by Israeli army vehicles targeting displaced people in the Mawasi area of Rafah in southern Gaza. Additionally, one person died from an Israeli drone strike in the center of Khan Younis. The Israeli military continued its shelling and firing from tanks and military vehicles in scattered areas east and south of Gaza on Monday. Air raids targeted residential buildings in the northeastern part of the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, injuring several residents. The Israeli army also demolished residential buildings in the northeastern areas of the Bureij camp, accompanied by artillery fire and shooting targeting homes in the northern part of the camp. Explosive demolitions were also carried out south of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
