Israel Will Strike Iran Without US Approval If Attacked, Envoy Says

Israel's Ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Danon, stated on Newsmax that Israel would retaliate forcefully against any further Iranian attacks without waiting for United States approval. "If Iran makes a mistake and attacks Israel again, we will not wait for anyone. We will respond and strike them hard," Danon declared on the program "Sunday Report."

Danon emphasized that while Israel coordinates with the U.S., any resolution with Iran must prevent Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons, limit its ballistic missile program, and halt its support for Iran-aligned groups. He also pointed to disruptions in shipping through the Strait of Hormuz and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, noting that Iran's actions negatively impact the global economy.
