Zach LeDay is close to rejoining Partizan Belgrade, according to reports from Serbia, and is not expected to join Hapoel Tel Aviv. The American forward left Partizan two years ago, and negotiations are now said to be at an advanced stage for a return to Belgrade.
LeDay’s contract with Milan has expired, and he has received offers from several EuroLeague clubs to continue his career, including Hapoel Tel Aviv. Even so, Partizan is described as the leading candidate to sign him, with the move seen as a possible reunion with a player who remains a fan favorite.
LeDay is coming off a strong EuroLeague season, averaging 13.1 points and 4.2 rebounds per game, while shooting efficiently from the field and posting a 15.1 efficiency rating per game. His expected signing is part of a broader roster overhaul at Partizan.
The Serbian club has already seen Sterling Brown leave for Zalgiris, Nick Calathes sign with PAOK, and Dwayne Washington depart. Isaac Bonga may also leave, Jabari Parker is unlikely to return, and Alexey Pokusevski and Dylan Osetkowski also appear on their way out. LeDay, along with Derrick Willis and Nikola Tanaskovic, could fill the power forward role.
