Tamar Social Justice Center Discusses Empowering Disabled Individuals in Decision-Making
The Social Justice Center in Tamra, affiliated with the "Generations - We Dream and We Achieve" association, organized an interactive meeting titled "Participation, Influence, and Decision-Making." The event, held in cooperation with the "Shahd for People with Disabilities" association, brought together individuals with physical disabilities, their families, and the Mayor of Tamra. The primary goal was to explore ways to enhance the participation of disabled individuals in public life and in decisions affecting their needs.
The discussions emphasized the right of disabled people to be active members of society and to have their voices heard on issues directly impacting their lives. Participants highlighted the importance of creating conditions that allow them to exercise this right with independence and dignity.
