Sheikh Raed Salah Leads Delegation Visiting Journalist Ahmed Hazem
Sheikh Raed Salah led a delegation that visited journalist Ahmed Hazem at his home on Saturday evening in Nazareth to check on his health. The visit, described as a "visit of loyalty," was intended to honor Hazem for his extensive journalistic work over many years in political and cultural spheres within the Arab community and in both the Arab and Western worlds.
During the meeting, Sheikh Salah presented Hazem with a shield named "Visit of Loyalty." He also delivered a recorded, moving speech, stating the visit had two purposes: to inquire about Hazem's health, as recommended by the Prophet Muhammad, and to express "a message of loyalty, appreciation, and praise for your blessed efforts in the media field as a writer knowledgeable about events."
Hazem thanked Sheikh Salah for the recognition, calling his words a "medal of honor." The accompanying delegation included social activist Mohammed Mahmoud Abu Shahada, Mr. Ziad Fathi Abu Jaroun, and Mr. Ahmed Hassan Abu Hamza Aghbariya.
