Settlers Enter Al-Aqsa Mosque Compound on Yom Kippur

Palestinian media reported that groups of settlers gathered at the Mughrabi Gate on Thursday morning, preparing to enter the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound. The reports stated that these groups subsequently entered the holy site, performing Talmudic rituals under the protection of Israeli police.

The events coincided with Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, which is observed by Jewish people. Palestinian sources referred to the day as "Yom Kippur" and described the settlers' actions as an "incursion" into the mosque, accompanied by "Talmudic rituals" and "occupation police protection."
