Hapoel Ramat Gan Suffers Disappointing Loss, Blames Naivety

Hapoel Ramat Gan experienced frustration following their 1-0 defeat to Bnei Sakhnin on Saturday at Doha Stadium. The team had hoped to build on their previous impressive win against Maccabi Netanya, but despite creating several scoring opportunities, they failed to convert and ultimately conceded a goal.

Coach Massai Dego fielded the same lineup that secured the victory over Netanya. Hapoel Ramat Gan generated numerous chances throughout the match but was unable to find the back of the net. "We were too naive," a club source stated. "We were better and created more chances, but we conceded a goal and couldn't get back into the game."

Club officials described the performance as their worst of the season, excluding a previous match against Hapoel Tel Aviv. "We will go into the break and work hard," they added, acknowledging the insufficient offensive output despite satisfaction with the team's approach and the chances created.

In response to the offensive struggles and the fact that Yoni Nikolasco ultimately remained with Maccabi Tel Aviv, the club intends to sign a foreign forward. Despite this, Hapoel Ramat Gan believes in the existing squad's ability to keep the team in the league.
