Hapoel Ramat Gan is actively seeking to sign a foreign player after missing out on their primary target, Yon Nicolascu, who will remain with Maccabi Tel Aviv. The club expressed disappointment when the transfer window closed without securing Nicolascu.

The team is currently preparing for their upcoming match against Bnei Sakhnin on Saturday in Sakhnin. Following their first win of the season against Maccabi Netanya, coach Massai Dego and his players aim to maintain momentum and move out of the relegation zone before the international break.

Dego is not expected to make changes to the starting lineup that secured the previous victory. Guni Naor will play in midfield, while Matan Hozez is likely to start on the bench again. The defense will consist of four foreign players, and the attack will feature David Assenka, Marius Novais, and Luan Campos.
