Ramla Yeshiva Students Achieve Major Talmudic Study Milestone

Over 80% of students at the Tiferet Shlomo yeshiva in Ramla successfully completed a tractate of the Talmud during a special study initiative held between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. The intensive program, led by Rabbi Yair Guelman, set a clear goal for students to finish a tractate by the Day of Atonement. Approximately 80 completion ceremonies were held throughout the week, with around 70 of these marking the end of a Talmudic tractate.

Students chose from various tractates, including Eruvin, Pesachim, Shabbat, Bava Kama, and Bava Metzia. The initiative aimed to provide students with a significant learning objective within a short timeframe, encouraging perseverance and the completion of an entire tractate. The yeshiva emphasized that beyond the numerical achievement, the program seeks to foster a sense of capability and success in each student, enabling them to set a goal, stick to it, and reach the finish line.

The yeshiva highlighted the importance of personal guidance and close relationships with students, fostering a family-like atmosphere and belief in each student's ability to tackle substantial academic challenges. Ramla Mayor Michael Vidal and city council member Moshe Shata attended the completion ceremonies, with the mayor discussing the yeshiva's activities and development with its leadership.

Discussions also covered preparations for the yeshiva's move to a new, larger building expected after the Sukkot holiday. This expansion is anticipated to broaden the scope of activities and provide students with a more spacious learning environment.
