Iran Hints at NPT Withdrawal Over US-Israeli Actions

Iran's Supreme National Security Council Secretary Ali Akbar Velayati stated that actions by the United States and Israel could lead Iran to withdraw from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). Velayati emphasized that while no decision has been made yet, such a move would depend on Washington's conduct.

He made these remarks in response to perceived provocations, suggesting that the international community's approach to Iran's nuclear program, particularly from the US and Israel, is creating an environment where withdrawal from the NPT becomes a viable option. The NPT aims to prevent the spread of nuclear weapons and promote peaceful uses of nuclear energy.
