Omer Atzili Nears Eli Ohana's Goal Record in Israeli League

Maccabi Haifa star Omer Atzili delivered his best performance of the season, scoring and assisting in the same Israeli Premier League match for the first time in the 2026/27 season. This achievement follows his previous combined four goals and assists across four separate games. Atzili also netted his first goal from outside the penalty area this season, a feat he accomplished three times last year. He capitalized on a defensive error by Hapoel Petah Tikva goalkeeper Yoav Ofir from a difficult angle.

Atzili's recent form includes scoring and assisting in a match against Austria Vienna and finding the net for the first time in the league against Maccabi Petah Tikva.
