Two Boys Injured in Fall, Rabbi Conducts Rituals, and Other Haredi News
Two young brothers, aged 4-6, were injured after falling from a canvas shed in their yard in Rekhasim, northern Israel. They sustained head injuries and were evacuated to Rambam Medical Center in moderate condition.
In Bnei Brak, a 5-year-old girl was injured in a scooter accident near the end of Shabbat. She suffered head and limb injuries and was taken to Schneider Children's Medical Center, also in moderate condition.
Rabbi Yitzhak Zilberstein, the rabbi of the Ramat Elhanan neighborhood, performed the Kaparot ritual, swinging a chicken for atonement. The ritual was followed by the commandment of covering the blood after the chicken was ritually slaughtered.
In other news, Rabbi Benjamin Huta delivered a lesson on repentance and Sukkot laws to soldiers of the Hasmonean Brigade in Ramat Gan. He urged them not to go a day without Torah study.
