Maccabi Tel Aviv defender Moussa Camara was injured during warm-ups and will miss Saturday night's away game against Maccabi Netanya. Tyris Asante will start in his place at center back, marking Asante's first start for the team this season. Camara had played in all previous league games this season, completing 90 minutes in three of them and coming on as a substitute in another.
During the match itself, the team suffered another setback when Henty Varela was injured and substituted in the 17th minute. The severity of Varela's injury is currently unknown. Ido Shahar came on to replace him.
