Israel DJs Canceled From Australian Festival Amid Threats
Organizers of the Frequency Forest electronic music festival in Australia have canceled the participation of Israeli DJs following a series of threats. The organizers reportedly received anonymous letters referring to the Israeli artists as "IDF soldiers." Australian police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the arson of vehicles belonging to one of the festival's producers. According to The Daily Telegraph, organizers also faced pressure from anti-Israel activists, forcing them to change event locations. The festival was set to feature 30 DJs, including five from Israel: Astrix, Berg, Ghostrider, Ranji, and Ritmo. Their performances have now been removed from the lineup.
