Solomon Assists West Ham in Dramatic Comeback Against Millwall

West Ham United staged a dramatic comeback to secure a 2-2 draw against Millwall in a fiery London derby on Saturday, marking the first meeting between the two clubs since 2012. Millwall had taken a commanding 2-0 lead by the 74th minute, but goals from substitutes and a crucial assist from Israeli international Manor Solomon turned the tide.

Millwall opened the scoring in the 15th minute through a scramble in the box, with Taylor scoring after a rebound. They extended their lead just before halftime (45+3) from another long throw-in, with Kamileh Ngelle finding the net from close range.

The momentum shifted in the 74th minute when substitute Mukhamadou Kante scored with a sharp shot from outside the box. Six minutes later, Konstantinos Mavropanos equalized with a header from a precise cross by Manor Solomon, marking Solomon's second assist of the season.

West Ham's comeback nearly culminated in a victory, but their momentum was halted in the 89th minute when Kante received a red card for a foul near the penalty area.

Despite the draw, West Ham (15 points) maintains its lead at the top of the Championship table. However, Swansea, Middlesbrough, and West Bromwich Albion (all 14 points) could overtake them. Millwall sits in tenth place with 11 points. In another match, Daniel Peretz's Southampton (10 points) will look to continue their momentum against Wrexham.
