Solomon Assists Equalizer as West Ham Draws 2-2 in Derby

Israeli midfielder Manor Solomon played a crucial role in West Ham's comeback, providing an assist for the 79th-minute equalizer in their 2-2 draw against Millwall in a derby match. Solomon, who had not started in the team's previous FA Cup exit, returned to the league lineup and immediately made an impact.

This was Solomon's second assist for West Ham since joining the club, adding to his two goals. Despite the draw, West Ham remains at the top of their league, though they are vulnerable to being overtaken by up to five other teams.

The first half was largely uneventful for the visitors and their star player. Millwall took a 2-0 lead with goals from Caleb Taylor in the 16th minute and Kamiel Nashali in first-half stoppage time. However, West Ham began their comeback with a goal from Said Benrahma in the 74th minute, followed by Solomon's decisive assist five minutes later.

Solomon delivered a precise cross to Konstantinos Mavropanos, who headed home the goal that secured the draw. Although Benrahma was later sent off for denying a clear goal-scoring opportunity, it did not alter the match's outcome. West Ham secured a valuable point away from home after trailing by two goals in a challenging away fixture.
