Palestinian Worker Dies in Work Accident Near Barta'a
A 28-year-old Palestinian man, Muhammad Abd al-Qadir Daoud Abahra, from the town of Rummana in the Jenin district, died on Saturday from injuries sustained in a work accident near the town of Barta'a. Magen David Adom (MDA) reported that its teams received a call at 10:56 AM about transferring the injured worker to a meeting point with ambulance crews at the Barta'a junction. Medical personnel provided initial treatment before transporting him to Hillel Yaffe Medical Center, where he was admitted with a severe head injury.
Hospital officials at Hillel Yaffe Medical Center announced that medical teams attempted resuscitation efforts, but they ultimately failed, and the worker was pronounced dead.
