Hunter Biden Claims Israel Knew of Hamas Attack Plans Before October 7
Hunter Biden, son of former U.S. President Joe Biden, asserted that Israel was aware of Hamas's plans to carry out an attack before October 7, 2023, and did nothing to prevent it. Speaking on London's LBC radio, Biden stated that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was warned about Hamas's intentions and "did absolutely nothing." He referenced a Haaretz newspaper report alleging that the UAE leader had personally cautioned Netanyahu about the intentions of Hamas leader in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar. Netanyahu has previously denied this report and threatened legal action against the publication.
Biden further claimed that Israel "knew what was going to happen" and "allowed it to happen to implement a plan that no one would ever have given them the green light for." He did, however, acknowledge that "Hamas is horrific." Describing the war in Gaza, Biden called it "akin to genocide," while noting that the term is "very ambiguous." Biden has recently been a frequent critic of Israel on various podcasts.
