Masked Israeli Man Assaults Palestinian Woman in West Bank

Masafer Yatta is a collection of unrecognized villages located in Area C. The Israeli military declared the area a live-fire zone in 1980, and eviction proceedings for the villages have been ongoing for years. The report also references a separate incident last week near Jenin, where masked Israeli settlers allegedly clashed with locals and Palestinian reports indicated a Palestinian was shot in the leg. The IDF stated that its forces fired into the air and toward a Palestinian during that incident, and the matter was under review.
