Israeli Soccer League Attendance Soars in Fourth Round
The Israeli Premier League's fourth round of matches attracted a total of 65,792 spectators, according to figures released by the league management on Friday. The data, published just before the fifth round, highlighted significant fan engagement across several key games.
The most attended match was the Tel Aviv derby between Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel Tel Aviv, drawing 26,846 fans to Bloomfield Stadium. Of these, 21,896 supported Maccabi Tel Aviv and 4,950 backed Hapoel Tel Aviv.
The following day, a match between Beitar Jerusalem and Maccabi Petah Tikva also saw a large turnout, with 21,232 spectators at the stadium, predominantly Beitar Jerusalem fans (21,087).
Other stadiums also reported healthy attendance. In Netanya, 6,816 fans watched Maccabi Haifa defeat Hapoel Kiryat Shmona at the Netanya Stadium, with the majority (6,500) being Maccabi Haifa supporters. Additionally, 5,929 spectators attended the game in Petah Tikva where Hapoel Be'er Sheva, supported by 2,981 traveling fans, beat the local Hapoel team at the HaMoshava Stadium.
