Hapoel Beersheba are intensifying preparations for the 2026/27 season, but the main issue remains the future of goalkeeper Niv Eliasi. After reports that he received an offer from Greece, a new club has entered the battle for him, Dynamo Bucharest. The Romanian side has submitted an official offer, though there are still financial gaps, just as there are with the Greek bid.
Eliasi’s agents, Ronen and Gilad Katzav, are continuing to examine additional options for the goalkeeper. Beersheba, meanwhile, are also focused on shaping their squad for the coming campaign.
The club expects all of its foreign players to land in Israel in the next few days and join training, including Lucas Ventura and Kings Kangwa. Helder Lopes will not be part of the sessions after his contract expired. Beersheba are now looking for a new foreign left-back to replace him, as well as a foreign center back and a winger.
There is also progress regarding Miguel Vitor. Beersheba are waiting for the final green light, but the veteran defender, who has been offered a new deal, is expected to answer positively soon and remain at Turner Stadium.
