Settler's Wife Appeals to Leaders Over Administrative Detention Orders

Miriam Dardik, wife of Tal Yinon Dardik, an administrative detainee and resident of Kfar Tzurif in the Benjamin region, has penned a strong letter to the heads of local authorities in Judea and Samaria. She is urging them to join her fight to cancel administrative detention orders, particularly those against her husband and other residents of the area.

Dardik asserts that the use of administrative detention against settlers constitutes severe discrimination and warns of the consequences of inaction. "For three months, my husband has fought against immoral, undemocratic, and anti-Jewish orders," she wrote. "We are the only public in the State of Israel against whom these tools are used in an unacceptable manner. Wherever the rights of settlers were trampled and we remained silent, the use of these tools expanded."

Dardik, who has lived in Benjamin for over two decades, stated that her husband's struggle is on behalf of the entire settler population. She implored the local authority heads to utilize all available means to end the discrimination and halt the harm to outpost pioneers and residents.
