Vanessa Fraser, the UN secretary-general’s representative for children and armed conflict, exchanged messages and interacted on X with an account that spread antisemitic content, including an image of the Israeli flag with a swastika in the center.
Fraser is the official behind the UN’s annual report that placed Israel on the blacklist for children and armed conflict. She also interrupted Israel’s ambassador, Danny Danon, during an official UN event.
On X, Fraser replied to the account’s post and wrote, “I look forward to productive joint action. Together we can ensure justice for the victims.”
Danon responded, “Anyone who shows tolerance for antisemitism cannot present themselves as a defender of human rights. The mask has been removed.”
