Hapoel Tel Aviv Offers Player Half Salary to Leave
Hapoel Tel Aviv basketball club has offered guard Yiftach Ziv half of his current salary in exchange for his departure from the team. The offer, reportedly around $150,000, was made on Thursday as the club seeks to part ways with the player.
Ziv joined Hapoel Tel Aviv at the beginning of last season. The club is now awaiting Ziv's response to the proposal.
Meanwhile, two other Israeli basketball teams, Hapoel Eilat and Maccabi Rishon LeZion, have expressed interest in acquiring Ziv's services. It is possible that Ziv will begin the upcoming season with one of these clubs.
