Michal Rand Reveals Surprising Financial Arrangement with Zofit Grant
Michal Rand, the former wife of Israeli singer Shuli Rand, has spoken out about the surprising relationship she has developed with Zofit Grant, Shuli Rand's current wife. After 30 years of marriage and seven children, the couple went through a contentious legal and public battle that culminated in an official divorce, especially after Shuli Rand married Grant.
In a recent interview, Michal Rand described the moment she received her official divorce decree, noting it was the first time she and Shuli had looked each other in the eye since their conflict began. She recounted feeling immense relief mixed with a sense of failure, acknowledging their past friendship and his role as the father of her children.
The most striking revelation came when Rand discussed her relationship with Zofit Grant. According to Michal, Grant was instrumental in facilitating the divorce. Furthermore, Grant has reportedly purchased new furniture for Michal's home and bought her a car. As Michal Rand does not have a bank account, Grant is managing her divorce settlement funds and covering her debts, with Michal describing Grant as "an amazing, good, and innocent woman."
Despite the divorce being finalized, legal battles persist. Michal Rand was awarded 2.2 million shekels in a lawsuit concerning the management and branding of Shuli Rand's career, a decision currently under appeal at the Supreme Court. However, Michal stated she has not received any liquid assets, as the funds have been directed towards legal fees and a defamation lawsuit filed by Zofit Grant. "I was left with nothing, and I am afraid for my old age," she admitted.
Rand is now considering reverting to her maiden name, Danino, and is planning a celebratory meal to mark the end of the legal proceedings. She emphasized that she is not seeking a new romantic relationship, finding fulfillment through her children and grandchildren.
