Israeli Navy Officers Complete Advanced Command Training Course

An advanced training course for Israeli Navy officers has concluded at the naval training center. The course, known as PIM, is designed for in-depth command preparation and is typically attended by officers about 18 months after completing their basic officer training, by which time they have gained practical experience on ships.

The approximately six-month program focused on enhancing command and professional skills, mirroring the training for unit commanders. Emphasis was placed on developing leadership abilities and personnel management techniques.

Upon completion, the officers will assume command positions on naval vessels. The advanced training is expected to equip them to handle a broader range of responsibilities and take on greater accountability in their future service.
