Jaffa Fest 2026 Theater Festival Opens in Tel Aviv
The Jaffa Fest 2026 International Theater Festival commenced on September 16th in Tel Aviv, marking its annual celebration of theater, literature, music, and art. The opening ceremony took place at the square in front of the Gesher Theater.
Notable guests Dmitry Krymov and Andrey Makarevich debuted a collaborative art performance, creating drawings on the set of Krymov's play "Bloody Mary" in real-time. The premiere of "Bloody Mary" was the festival's central opening event.
The festive atmosphere was enhanced by Jaffa Fest's signature orange juice and balloons. The evening concluded with an outdoor concert by the band FromScratch. The festival, which promises further performances, music, and film, continues with its program available on the Gesher Theater website.
