Jerusalem's Sukkot Market Returns to Mahane Yehuda Square

Jerusalem's traditional and colorful "Four Species" market is set to return to Kikar Valero in the Mahane Yehuda market for four days, continuing a decades-old Jerusalem tradition ahead of the Sukkot holiday. The market is expected to become a central hub for holiday shopping and atmosphere for city residents and the many visitors anticipated.

Dozens of stalls will offer the "Four Species" (etrog, lulav, hadassim, aravot), along with various sukkah decorations, Judaica items, and other holiday products. Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Lion welcomed the continuation of the tradition and invited the public to participate and experience the unique atmosphere of the capital during the High Holidays.

In preparation for the holidays, the Jerusalem Municipality is increasing its efforts in cleaning, sanitation, maintenance, security, and enforcement, with a special focus on the city's commercial centers.
