New Nature Spot Honors Fallen IDF Officer in Northern Samaria
A new scenic spot, featuring a spring and walking trail named 'Ma'ayan Yedidya and Shvil HaGvura,' has been established near the settlement of Tal Menashe in northern Samaria. The site was created in memory of Captain Yedidya Asher Lev, a resident of Tal Menashe who fell in combat in northern Gaza on November 14, 2023. The accessible 800-meter walking path is designed for families, leading through a shaded grove to two refreshing wading pools surrounded by seating areas. A unique viewpoint is situated at the end of the trail. During the holidays, a kosher sukkah will be available for visitors. Directions are available via Waze by searching for 'Ma'ayan Yedidya and Shvil HaGvura, Tal Menashe.' Access from central Israel is via Wadi Ara through the town of Katzir or the city of Harish, while access from the Samaria region is through the area of Sa-Nur.
