Eyal Golan Holds Spiritual Gathering Near Western Wall
Israeli singer Eyal Golan held a spiritual evening for his production company staff, Liam Productions, near the Western Wall in Jerusalem ahead of the holiday season. Golan, dressed in a white shirt, tzitzit, and a light-colored kippah, was seen observing the Western Wall plaza from an elevated vantage point. The unusual, quiet moment stood in stark contrast to his typically large and boisterous performances.
Later in the evening, Golan participated in writing letters in a Torah scroll alongside a rabbi, donning a black kippah for the occasion. He held a quill while the rabbi guided him through the process. The event also featured a lavish festive meal with tables set against the Jerusalem skyline, serving salads, appetizers, breads, and drinks.
Golan shared a message on Instagram, stating, "Free love, unity among us, and good tidings for all the people of Israel." Following a busy summer of performances and media attention, Golan appeared to choose an intimate, symbolic evening with his behind-the-scenes team to mark the start of the Selichot (penitential prayers) period.
