Chabad Envoy Attacked by Three Muslims in Milan

Rabbi Tzemach Mizrahi, a Chabad emissary and rabbi of the central Chabad community in Milan, was assaulted on Wednesday evening by three Muslim assailants while waiting at a bus stop. Mizrahi, an Israeli citizen who has served in Milan for approximately 30 years, was on his way to pick up his children from school when the incident occurred.

According to Rabbi Mizrahi, the three individuals began to provoke him and snatched his hat. When he requested its return, one of the attackers kicked him forcefully, sending him to the ground. He stated that he did not require medical attention following the assault.

The rabbi reported that the assailants were apprehended by authorities and are currently under investigation. Mizrahi proceeded to the police station to provide his testimony, noting the officers' serious approach to the matter. "The police took it very seriously, arrested the attackers immediately, and they will remain in custody tonight," he said.

Rabbi Mizrahi expressed his hope that the arrest of the three attackers would serve as a deterrent and lead to a period of calm.
