Hapoel Beer Sheva began their Europa League campaign with a frustrating 0-0 draw against Dinamo Zagreb in Bucharest on Wednesday. Despite being the better side for much of the match and creating several scoring opportunities, including a shot that hit the post, the Israeli champions were unable to find the back of the net.

Hapoel Beer Sheva's best chance came from Amankwaa Forson, whose shot struck the post, and another opportunity was created by Javan East, who stole the ball and set up Hamoadi Kanaan, but the substitute couldn't capitalize.

Hapoel Beer Sheva's next Europa League fixture is on October 15th against AZ Alkmaar in the Netherlands, followed by an away match against Union SG and a home game against AEK Athens on November 5th.
