Patriots Star Admits Guilt Over On-Air Conduct

Itamar Fleishman, a journalist and panelist on the Israeli TV show "HaPatriotim" (The Patriots), has revealed candid feelings about his on-air conduct and the public backlash he receives. In an upcoming interview on Channel 13's "Omri Asnaim Show," Fleishman shared the heavy emotions he experiences after certain broadcasts and the reactions he faces on social media.

When asked by interviewer Omri Asnaim if he ever returns home feeling disgusted with himself, Fleishman responded affirmatively. "Yes, of course. Obviously, what else? There's no question. Your hands are always in the mud. There's no escaping the mud hitting you, and you cause it, there are days like that," he stated.

Fleishman described his post-broadcast routine, admitting he doesn't immediately go to bed after finishing a show. "I don't go to bed, I sit on the balcony for a bit, feeling very down on myself," he shared. He also revealed that on particularly difficult days, he deliberately reads the harsh online comments. "These are days when I make sure to look at what people are writing online. Because I deserve it, I need to learn from it, and it happens quite often," Fleishman explained.
