Gantz Declares E1 Area a Vital Security Asset for Jerusalem

Benny Gantz, chairman of the National Unity party, visited the city of Ma'ale Adumim on Wednesday to observe its development. He was accompanied by fellow party member Aliza Bloch and Ma'ale Adumim Mayor Guy Yifrah.

During the visit, Gantz emphasized the strategic importance of the E1 area, which connects Ma'ale Adumim to Jerusalem. He stated that the E1 corridor is a crucial security asset and an integral part of Jerusalem's future infrastructure, ensuring continuous transportation solutions for all.

Gantz stressed the need for a strong, Zionist government to continue developing the area. He highlighted the necessity of a comprehensive national approach to all settlements and areas surrounding Jerusalem, viewing them as central to Israel's capital.

He further asserted that the entire area encircling Jerusalem requires preferential treatment and broad national support from government ministries and relevant authorities to solidify life and security in the region. Gantz called for a national response to the needs of these areas.
