Cantor Yishai Sudri Delivers Moving Performance of 'Bizechri Al Mishkavi' at Selichot Concert

A special concert featuring piyutim (liturgical poems) and selichot (penitential prayers) was held last week at Beit Ha'am in Jerusalem, offering attendees a spiritual musical experience ahead of the High Holy Days. The event was accompanied by the "Pirkat Al Nur" orchestra, led by conductor Ariel Cohen.

Cohen opened the evening with selichot piyutim for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, with the full orchestra providing rich musical arrangements. The concert aimed to blend the ancient tradition of piyutim with a contemporary soundscape, creating a unique atmosphere.
